FIBA adapted rules (All rules will default to FIBA rules unless otherwise stated below)
Clock:
1st half - 22 min running time (no stop time, except for last 10 seconds)
2nd half - 22 minutes (stop time in the last 2 minutes if game score is within 10 points).
Overtime – 3 minutes stop time – all foul totals stay the same.
Fouls:
5 personal fouls
8 team fouls = bonus. Bonus foul shot will be done using regulation shooting procedure.
Regular shooting fouls are one shot for the value of the shot when fouled (example: 3 pointer is one shot for 3 points). This is unless it is stop time, then it is regulation shooting procedure.
Other:
No Shot clock, but stalling is not allowed. Ref will yell out to shoot by a certain time. 30 second shot clock on ref's discretion.
In the first half, there will be stop time in the final 10 seconds.
Time Outs are 2 per game.
Teams must have minimum 4 players to play or forfeit
Forfeit is a 20-0 win
Players must have attended at least 3 regular season games in order to be eligible for playoffs. An allowance will be made for a player who has played 2 regular season games if: they were on the roster by the end of September and they have a legitimate reason why they could not play (work trip, injury etc.)
Additions to rosters are fine, just run them through Stephen to be sure. Rosters and eligibility are on an honour system basis. Captains will make sure that their team/roster is in order for playoffs.
Intentional/Technical Fouls
Technical Fouls are 1 shot for 2 points plus ball at half .
2 T's or flagrant fouls in the same game equals immediate disqualification for that player.
On the 3rd technical foul in a season (and everyone thereafter), the offending player will be required to sit out the following game.
